Hey everyone,
Publix GA Half and Full Marathon is this Sunday. We have a large group going, as usual. Beth, Ami, Roman, Joe, Wayne, Jim, Rahn, Alex, and Amanda. Anyone else? Oh yah, my 76 year old dad is running the half and will probably win the 75+ AG. I hope you all can stick around to meet him! He's a serious marathon veteran who started running before GELS, dry fit clothing, and so many varieties of running shoes. I still remember as a kid, watching dad squeeze out shoe goo on the soles of his shoes to make them last longer. I really didn't understand why in the world he wouldn't just buy some new shoes! LOL.
Speaking of veterans, please come to the expo at 4 pm on Saturday if you can to see Scott Ludwig speak. He has published 3 books and is an amazing runner and person. He's the director/founder of the Darkside Running Club in Peachtree City.
The marathon weather looks like it's going to be on the warm side so wear next to nothing and drink plenty of fluids along the course. We aren't used to this weather so consider that.

ReplyDeleteYou came on my blog with a question about paint color and since you are a no reply comment blogger I had no way to email you back so I thought I would just come on your blog and leave the answer here for you. A little weird but did not know any other way to let you know.
The color in my bedroom is called Gallery White by Glidden. It is white with a tint of light grey. I love this color and have it now through out a lot of my house. Hope that helps. Good luck with your running.
